Dr. Vikram Agarwal

Dr. Vikram Agarwal is a Consultant in Pediatric Surgery with extensive experience in neonatal and pediatric surgical care. His primary field of interest is genitourinary surgeries, and he has vast expertise in advanced minimally invasive techniques. He is highly experienced in laparoscopic and endoscopic procedures, including pediatric bronchoscopy and pediatric cystoscopy.
Dr. Agarwal is actively involved in service improvement initiatives, teaching, and management responsibilities, demonstrating a strong commitment to advancing pediatric surgical care. He continues to pursue excellence in pediatric surgery with a focus on delivering safe, effective, and child-centered treatment.
Medical Employment
Dr. Vikram Agarwal has been in private practice since 2008 and continues to serve patients to date. He worked as a full-time Consultant at Nayati Medicity, Mathura and Agra, from August 2017 to March 2018. Currently, he is associated with multiple hospitals in Agra on a visiting and on-call basis, including serving as a Visiting Pediatric Surgery Consultant at Nayati Medicity, Mathura. He is also actively involved in managing a pediatric surgery hospital in Agra.
Education and Qualifications
Dr. Vikram Agarwal completed his M.Ch. in Pediatric Surgery from Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College & Sion Hospital, Mumbai, during 2005–2008. He underwent rigorous training under the esteemed guidance of legendary pediatric surgeons Dr. B. K. Kulkarni and Dr. Paras Kothari.
He earned his M.S. in General Surgery from Grant Medical College & Sir J. J. Group of Hospitals, Mumbai, between 2002–2005. During this period, he was trained by eminent hepatobiliary surgery experts Dr. S. K. Mathur, Dr. G. B. Davar, Dr. B. L. Chitlangia, along with other senior faculty members.
Dr. Agarwal served as Medical Officer (In-Charge) at Warthi Primary Health Centre, District Bhandara, Maharashtra, from 2001–2002, as part of the mandatory one-year rural service posting.
He completed his M.B.B.S. from Seth Gordhandas Sundardas Medical College, Mumbai, during 1994–2000.
His primary schooling, high school, and intermediate education were completed at St. Peter’s College, Agra, between 1981–1993.
Courses, Meetings, and Conferences
Dr. Vikram Agarwal is a Life Member of the Association of Surgeons of India since 2017. He served as Organizer and Chairperson at IAPSCON 2016, Agra, the 42nd National Conference of the Indian Association of Pediatric Surgeons, held in September 2016.
He provided medical services through Helpage India for disaster-affected people of Uttarakhand in July 2013.
He also acted as Organizer and Chairperson at the Annual I Conference on Pediatric Urology (PUC-IAPS) held in Agra, March 2012.
Dr. Agarwal has been a Life Member of the Indian Medical Association since May 2010 and served as an Executive Member during 2017. He participated in a CME on Ophthalmology conducted by CFS & IMA Agra on 22 August 2010.
He is a Life Member of the Society of Endoscopic & Laparoscopic Surgeons of India (SELSI) since July 2009 and participated in LAPCON-2009, a live workshop and conference on pediatric laparoscopic surgery, held in Lucknow, January 2009.
Dr. Agarwal attended “Pediatric Surgery Update 2008” at Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, in May 2008, and participated in the Pediatric Hydrocephalus Workshop at BHIMS, Mumbai, in May 2008, conducted by Prof. Shizuo Oi (Japan).
He participated in an International Live Operative Workshop on Pediatric Urology at MGM’s New Bombay Hospital, Navi Mumbai, in January 2008, and attended the 39th Congress of the International Society of Paediatric Oncology (SIOP 2007) held in Mumbai, October 2007.
Dr. Agarwal served as Organizer for the International Pediatric Urology Workshop “PaedUron 2007” at the Department of Pediatric Surgery, LTMG Hospital, Sion, Mumbai, in March 2007, conducted by Howard Snyder and John Park. He also participated in the 4th Live Workshop on Hypospadias held in Agra, March 2007.
He underwent Simulated Training on Proximate Staplers at the Ethicon Institute of Surgical Education, Mumbai, in August 2006, and participated in the 1st National Pediatric Laparoscopy Workshop, Agra, in August 2006. He also attended RECON-UROL 2006, a live international workshop on reconstructive urology, held in Mumbai, September 2006.

Dr. Agarwal also participated in the XXIV All India Cultural, Literary & Sports Festival “PULSE ’96” at AIIMS, New Delhi, in September 1996, and was a Winner in Football at the All India Intermedial Sports Festival held at TNMC & BYL Nair Hospital, Mumbai, in December 1994.
